Pets + Skarn

So, I'm looking through warcraftpets.com forums to look at random pet battle stuffs and I run across this post from a user named Skarn. I'm like.. "Hey, I used to know a dude named Skarn long ago, I wonder if that's the one that xferrd to Proudmore?" I used the interwebz to find this guild site and find out that yes, indeed, this is the Skarn I knew way back when. So anyways, I'm just saying hi.

'Hi'

Oh, I'm Mason - priest guy who was in the same guild as you long ago. I mostly raid on a DK now that the guild needed a tank. And I have an awesome pet collection, too. =p

MASON! :D

Fantastic to hear from you! Glad to hear you and the ol' Clique guild are doing well. Good to know you don't need me. ;) I had some great times back on Norgannon, but I'm very happy with the move. Raiding six days a week was very bad for me!

Pet Battles are very fun! I look forward to the new trainers in the Tournament tonight. What's your collection at?

Thanks for looking me up! You were a great player and I was always super happy to have you in the raid group. Good luck over there!

Raiding 6 days is bad for

Raiding 6 days is bad for anyone! We're much more casual these days, just about the same schedule as you - twice a week, 3 hours per raid.

And yeah, I'm hooked on the pet thing. I have 536 unique pets and 194 of them at level 25. This celestial tournament thing is awesome, too.

You're further than me! 527 uniques with 72 at max level. Though you probably noticed that. :)

I had a lot of fun last week working out different pet groups to beat all the fights in the Tournament. I also like finding less common combos and avoiding pets I've used a lot. It's more interesting than doing the same thing every time.

Yes, the puzzling

Yes, the puzzling/strategizing aspect of the tournament makes it great. Even if you find a way to beat a trainer, you can always work on ways to improve it. Makes it fun and new every week. And yes, I'd like to find ways to use the lesser used pets for teams. Some sort of critter team that nibbles you to death just sounds fun.

New blog

I've been keeping notes and strats for a while now on my own and finally decided to start sharing them. If you like, head over to petcharge.wordpress.com and browse through the stuff I've started to write. Nice chatting with you, Skarn. =)
