Hello

Hi folks,

I saw some screenshots of MoP recently and since I can't resist bright colors, furry animals and sweet foods, I decided to give WoW another try after a very long break.

Auto was kind enough to invite me back in the guild and tell me of the new web site.
It's great to see that the guild is still around and the progression spirit preserved.

I'm very much looking forward to playing again with all of you (or if we never played together before - to get to know you)

Cheers
Tinmor

Welcome!

Good to have you, Tinmor! As we figured out in guild chat already, I came in after you'd left and there are a lot of other new faces now too. Biggest changes you'll see in the guild is simply that it's smaller, which is pretty natural since we run 10s now instead of 25s. Some nights there aren't many people on as a result. Fortunately, we've still got a good crew!

So I'm going to bump an ancient topic and say "Hi" as well.

I just reactivated my account, figured I'd give WoW another go after a couple expansions have gone by. I see a few names I recognize from my days, and a lot of new ones. Glad to see the guild's still kickin'.

Do folks want me to toss an application up to be official like? From a raiding perspective, what roles is needed? I'll be getting a level boost with the xpac and could use it to help out.

Hope to see you in game!

Hey Aetty, great to hear from

Hey Aetty, great to hear from you!

An app probably isn't necessary unless you want to re-introduce yourself to the current players. We're a little more casual and value the in-game fit and having fun more than ever.

We don't have any specific needs at the moment, we have plenty of tanks, a nice mix of melee and ranged and generally have plenty of healing. We don't regularly have cookies and summoning wardrobes unless Rada switches to his warlock full time. I'd say play what you want to and we'll have a spot for you.

You'll have a bit of catching up to do with gear as Blizzard has seen fit to keep the gear curve nice and steep but with a few pieces of crafted gear, LFR difficulty raids, the raid finder tool, and assorted friendly raids (including our occasional alt raids) you can catch up without too much hassle.

Great! I'll look for someone

Great! I'll look for someone when I'm next on then. I'll see if I can make heads or tails of all the changes, but I have been thinking about my Mage with misty eyes, so that'll probably be the way I start.

Looking forward to hearing old voices and learning some new ones.

Hey Aetty, a mage sounds fantastic. If you are looking for someone online, you can add me as a battletag friend Aanvil#1385.

Once you get in the guild and boosted to 90 we'll see if we can't get you some gear to make leveling easy and fun.
