Dark Animus

This boss has all the same abilities as in LFR, but it works very different. The adds and boss all activate in a fairly set pattern in LFR, you can't really control it much. In Normal we have full control over which adds activate when and this is key to making the fight much easier. Also, the Dark Animus has one extra ability in Normal that he does not have in LFR. When he hits 100 anima, we die. Very fast. So the key is to control the anima, get it into as few golems as possible and nuke the boss.

I plan to do the Fatboss strat, which you can see at minute 12:00 in the video. (The rest is explaining how all the abilities work.) Here's the short version though:

NO large golems will be activated. Crimson Wake is just NOT worth it!
Only ONE massive golem will be activated ever.
The two tanks will each hold two little golems, drag these to a critically damaged large golem and kill their two adds so the anima goes in the critically damaged large golems. Ranged DPS will help with this.
The two melee will take their single little golems to the third critically damaged golem and kill them next to it.
Then we fill up one massive golem to full with the rest of the adds, including some critically damaged ones.
Finally, kill one last small golem next to the Dark Animus and nuke the boss down.

It should be fairly simple. The longest part will be the set-up at the start, making sure each person is assigned an add to tank. Raid damage may be fairly high at the start until we kill off several golems, but then it'll tone down until later in the fight. The most dangerous point will be when the Interrupting Jolt starts getting cast. Gotta be really careful of Matter Swap at that point, it'll be very easy to get someone killed with both abilities going off.

It'll take us some practice, but the boss should fall over without too much work.
