Many things happening here! Try to remember it all!

There seems to be quite a lot happening in this fight, but it's very manageable once you actually do it. Almost all of it boils down to "spread out." Group during part of Rook's Desperate Measures and all of Sun's, otherwise spread out, kill stuff, heal stuff, don't stand in stuff.

The only significant challenge is the Anguish mob during He's Desperate Measures. The damage it does can ramp up pretty fast and tossing the Mark can be tricky. This seems the most important place to blow DPS cooldowns, particularly Heroism. Next week we'll probably use Heroism for the second Anguish spawn.

This should be much easier if we set up a Mark "rotation." We'll designate an order to pass the Mark around to avoid it hitting the same person twice. It seems to have a passing CD if you get it back too soon. This order shouldn't be hard to maintain. All each person really needs to remember is who to pass it to next. I don't need to remember all of "Bluepea->Serelyn->Krokuss->Hobugz->Skarn->Stonestorm->" just that last part "pass to Stonestorm." Should be simple. BUT I CAN MAKE IT EASIER! I highly recommend each ranged and healer make this macro:

/target [player name]
/click ExtraActionButton1
/targetlasttarget

Actually, healers can leave out that last line. Might as well keep the person you just tossed the Mark to targeted, since they'll need healing! With this macro you don't even have to remember anything! Just put the name of the correct person in your macro (we'll give that to you each raid night, based on whoever is there) and click it when you get the debuff. Can it GET easier? I don't think so!

Don't pass it around TOO fast though! It'd be easy for everyone to click their macro the moment the debuff pops up, but that will put the Mark back on the first person in about 6-10 seconds, which is way too fast. Let the Anguish mob run up to you, even let it hit you a couple times. At one point last night I used both charges of Deterrence and tanked the thing for 10 seconds. We probably won't put melee in the Mark rotation.

With that, the fight will be smooth!

Follow-up: Though this would be fine, we might try just tossing the Mark to the tank (Swipe) and healing through it. One of the other guilds I follow that's same level as us did exactly this with a druid tank and didn't even notice the armor debuff.

For Science!

More damage (Duh). Lots of healing to do. Icy Veins suggests considering 3 tanks.
Bosses use some abilities all the time instead of just during their special or use abilities during desperate abilities that they normally wouldn't.
No shared health pool on some adds.
Our practice for the achievement will come in handy, I don't think we'll be able to just chuck the Mark of Anguish on a tank and ignore it, we'll probably need a rotation and some cooldowns.
Some suggestions for different orders for taking bosses down, I'll leave that to Skarn :)
