I did manage to play much of the afternoon, though with increasing lag. A DC at 6:30 dumped me at the end of the queue, saw a character screen 30 minutes later but couldn't get in. I'll probably try for a bit and plan some more productive activities for the evening.

I was able to use Teamviewer to manage my queue, login attempts and send movement keystrokes to my character. They have Android and IOS clients so its likely possible to login and/or stay logged in from your smartphone until the crush of returning players passes or people get fed up and transfer off realm.
I got disconnected at about 1pm and never got back on.

My favorite part of the queue is Estimated Time. One moment it'll say 93 mins, the next it'll jump up to 2347, then hover back between 200-300
I was singing praises this morning with the no queue times, but I get home from riding on the motorcycle and welcome old friend. 2700 place in line.
