This is an "official" notice that Monday raids will likely NOT start right at 8:30 most weeks. This is because a couple raid members run a bit late due to family obligations. Kulgarr has to pick up his son from hockey practice right around 8:30. Also, I have some family stuff going on too right before raids on Mondays. That started last week and is indefinite, but is fun. :) When exactly I'm done with that can vary, but should be between 8:45-9:00. Thus, raid start time on Mondays should not be later than 9:00.
You may be thinking that we moved the raid to Monday to avoid similar issues and so we did! I think it's still best to keep the Monday raid though. Raid starts on Tuesday were likely to be no earlier than 9:00, with a 9:30 possibility. Plus there was also a likely early stop at 11:00. 9:30 to 11:00 makes for a short night without much done. Plus, I think there is good benefit to having Tuesdays free. Those are patch days, so we avoid having patches cause raid problems. It also lets us check out new patch goodies without having to worry about raiding that night. Tuesdays are also good days for LFR since a lot of players (especially good ones) that do LFR on Tuesday and Wednesday, so the success rate is higher.
So in short: We're keeping raids on Mondays and Thursdays. Thursday we'll start at 8:30. Monday at 8:45-9:00. Both nights will end at 11:30. I think we've been doing really well and I'm having fun, so I'm excited to keep going and get more bosses down!
Monday Kul and I are back on Pacific time. With that brings a bit of a conflict on Mondays for a few weeks until Hockey ends. We shall see if we can work a ride home for the boy but for the next few weeks we may need to AFK to get the boy.
