Our dps was low, but not too low to beat the boss. It was within the range of other guilds who had gotten kills, although on the low side. Upping our dps would certainly make it easier.
The biggest problem was not killing the pack beasts fast enough. They have a rising buff the longer they live (which I forgot about). We need to stack them up and kill them ASAP, not kite or slow them. Once they are on top of the boss they should be stunned or slowed, but not before. Everyone needs to be specced appropriately to maximize aoe dmg on this fight... that will also help our overall dps!
Yeah, it was an interesting experiment, but kiting the Pack Beasts wasn't working out. We should go back to grouping them up on the boss and killing them. We could still have the boss closer to the middle of the room though. We also can use a stun rotation on the beasts, that's totally fine. For example, Hunters can use our Stun Arrow to reduce tank damage.
