Tell us tell us a little about yourself.
In RL I'm a professor/clinical psychologist. My partner and I have been playing WOW (and other games together) for years. Outside of work, parenting, and gaming, I love playing with our nutty dogs, traveling, reading, and gardening. I made it to 3 continents last year (Europe, Asia, and Africa) each twice.
Tell us about your WoW experience.
I've been playing my hunter since late Vanilla. I've played all 3 specs at some point or another in my WOW career. I was raiding survival in T17 but recently switched to MM with the huge survival nerfs. I have a warlock, priest, and mage as alts that I play occasionally but I can't imagine playing anything seriously other than my hunter.
In BC I was the guild co-leader for Exquisite Pain. We created a fun, progressive raiding atmosphere. Prior to that I raided After that I took a break until Cata and did a faction change to Alliance. Prior to that I raided with a Horde Guild, Defenders of Apathy. In MOP I started raiding with a cross-faction group and rediscovered how much I liked it. I've been raiding my my guild, Mattachine Knights through T17 and 18. I've cleared normal and heroics on T17 and I am 9/13 on normal and 1/13 heroics this tier.
In addition to raiding I am an avid pet battler and pet collector.
I hate PVP. Please don't make me do it. ;)
What is your Weakness?
I'd like to get better at keeping DPS up while kiting. I'm also still getting used to the MM rotation, both in terms of keeping sniper training up and dealing with focus management.
What was your favorite gaming moment?
I have lots of happy gaming moments but I think one of the best ones was getting the Hand of Adal achievement. We worked quite hard on Kael and Vash and we were just so proud seeing each of them in turn go down. Given that the guild and raid team were created by myself and a friend of mine, it was especially a sweet moment.

I'd LOVE to have more hunters in raid. My group only has only me and I get lonely. I'm actually looking forward to having a cohort again.
We would love to raid with you but I just got home from work. Any chance we could take a raincheck and join you all next Monday? Also it would give us time to watch the videos and strats for the bosses that are new to us.
Dikka, Those are hard questions, especially since I'm fairly behavioral in my orientation. For Garrosh and Thrall, I would be curious about Garrosh's learning environment, especially given that they were both raised by Greatmother Geyah. I'd also be curious about how he made sense of his father's behavior.
For Sylvanna, there's not a lot of clinical research on sexuality of the dead. However, given her history of trauma exposure I would definitely want to screen her for PTSD. PTSD or depression could affect her sexual functioning. Of course, being dead would also probably inhibit sexual response.
Thanks for the response about Monday, so I didn't spend all night wondering if you were gonna come. :) We hadn't specifically talked about it, but it was obviously an option. Anyway, it wasn't a problem! Next Monday is fine. We'll plan exactly what we will go for after Thursday's raid.
