While maybe not super beneficial to see from a melee PoV, here's video footage of our first heroic kills. If you haven't seen these fights with us, I suggest you give these a look over so that you have a general idea on what strats we're using. For those who participated in these videos, things to note are positioning and communication. What did we do right that pull, what can be improved upon, etc.

If you're someone like me who benefits more from visual learning instead of combing logs, and have a PC with enough CPU power/spare drive space, I highly suggest recording yourself with OBS (free and you can easily adjust the quality so that the files are relatively small). No need to upload them if that's not your thing, but I find being able to look over video footage to be really helpful.

Oh that's awesome! I used to

Oh that's awesome! I used to fraps fights but dropped it during my hibernation. Maybe I'll start that up again. You can all watch the tank's viewpoint -- usually a fiery toe or (in this case) a snout.

Another place to look is in the warcraft logs at the replay option. This fight is really good because you'll see the boss jumping around, the tanks dancing, etc. I like it better than fraps because it's the total view opposed to my screen.

Yup! That's a handy tool as well. I personally like to see things from my PoV since I can usually see things like how I'm moving/facing my character, when I might be losing buff uptime because a mechanic happened, noticing that had I moved my camera a certain way so that I wouldn't have died to breath, etc. While I can get more information than I'd ever want out of a log, it's much easier for me to parse and improve on things when I can see them again when not in the heat of the moment. It also often helps me sort out what's on my UI, if it's actually useful or distracting visual noise.

You really should move your

You really should move your camera more on that Nythendra fight. :P

More seriously, I'll start frapping again (with OBS). Not sure I'll be able to get it running by tomorrow and not sure how many other guildies want to see the tank perspective (nothing but big toes and snouts) but I'll do it anyway. If nothing else, I can get feedback on my yet-to-be-improved UI.
