Raiding Schedule: Trial of Valor?

You probably know that patch 7.1 goes Live on Tuesday. You might know that there is a new raid in the patch. So you're wondering "when will we be raiding the Trial of Valor" and "are we still going to be raiding the Emerald Nightmare?"

The Trial of Valor opens on November 8th, so that answers part of the question! Can't raid it yet anyway. :) The Trial also has only 3 bosses. We won't be doing JUST the Trial, we will still spend time in the Nightmare. The Trial isn't a full new tier, the gear should be similar or a little better, but not making Emerald gear irrelevant. When the Trial is open, we will be splitting our time between the two raids. We will NOT be doing much Normal Nightmare any more. There are probably a few upgrades left, but we need to spend more time on Heroic, which is going quite well. Here is the current plan:

Monday, October 24: Heroic Nightmare (2 bosses down already)
Thursday, October 27: Fresh Heroic Nightmare
Monday, October 31: No raid due to Halloween
November 4: Heroic Nightmare
November 7: Heroic Nightmare (full clear?)

November 10: Probably Trial of Valor Normal. Since it's just 3 bosses, we will probably clear them all. Then either Heroic Nightmare or Heroic Trial
November 14: Heroic Trial and/or Heroic Nightmare

From there we will keep clearing the two Heroic raids until Nighthold opens. Given that Suramar has "a new series of quests that unlock over a period of nine weeks, ultimately leading you to the very entrance of the Nighthold" we can assume that Nighthold won't open until at least December 20th. Then there is Christmas and New Year's and it would be no surprise to see Nighthold not open until January. So we have quite a bit of time to clear Heroic and maybe even poke Mythic.
