I know we haven't ever used a dedicated tank healer in this patch but going into these last two bosses we might want to consider it. Our new monk healer would be a good candidate for the role. They are good as either all aoe heals or all tank heals as best I can tell from what I have read. They aren't mana efficient at doing a little of each.
If we want to do this we should probably give Haiden a head's up and have him run the tank healing config on Thursday even if we start a new clear (can't remember if we are continuing the lockout or doing a new clear) so he can get a feel for those talents.

That sounds good to me. While we've generally been pretty flexible about healer assignments, it is often out of lack of planning more than any kind of design. I encourage you, as a group, to work on assignments that help make sure everyone is getting healed. Just... you know, don't create a situation where someone feels like they aren't supposed to heal the tanks. Everyone needs to heal sanzaru if we want to keep him alive.
Sanz knows by now that I don't heal him...his bar doesn't even show up on my raid frames anymore. ;-)
I'm definitely not suggesting we set up something where the rest don't heal the tanks but someone that specifically focuses on your needs and not everyone else is more the idea. It is specializing that healers role, not changing anyone else's all that much really. It should also help with the sniping of the monk heals that can happen a lot.

Dedicated roles makes sense to me for many reasons. I will let Hadron know that Anvil and I are paying his repair bill and he is paying ours.
