Usually when I can't fall asleep I tend to go online and read things to wear myself out. Tonight was me catching up on GT Guild forums. Whenever I'm online I tend keep myself busy doing something or other which ends up with me not knowing my guild mates as well as I'd hoped. Because of this, I greatly enjoyed reading about people that I've been spending at least 2 nights a week with these past few months. Equivalent exchange time: Here's some stuff about me.
Tell us tell us a little about yourself.
My life outside of wow consist of work, quality assurance for a dental lab, and staying in with friends. I usually enjoy rogue-like games like Xcom, FTL, Darkest Dungeon, and Civ. I find enjoyment from games that punishes you heavily for your mistakes. Every time I mess up I can just imagine the game taunting me yelling, "See? You did this to us!!!" And forces me to improve next time. (WoW is a bit like that, I have definitely stood in my fair share of fires). My favorite thing about Legion thus far is Mythic+. It's a nice rush of trying to go as fast as you can while staying safe.
Tell us about your WoW experience.
I started playing wow shortly before BC with my group of friends and have played in every expansion except for MoP (Pandas do nothing for me). I've always gravitated towards Tank/Melee DPS/Healer. I prefer to bash things to death rather than shoot arrows or fling spells at them till they die. If I can't do that, I'd settle for healing people so they can bash things to death for me. In terms of raiding experience, I would have to say mine thus far was very much a letdown. I would always start raiding with my friends at the start of each expansion but eventually people will start to drag their feet or quit wow and the raid group would fall apart. What is your Weakness?
Communication! People tend to have difficulties understanding me from time to time. I would talk too fast and slur my words or my accent sometimes gets in the way. Saz even called it "Toilet speak" today during our kara run. (I know, she's a huge meanie.) I've even heard myself talk in a clip once and was baffled at how I sound.
What was your favorite gaming moment?
Beating Xcom on Impossible/Ironman was an extremely rewarding gaming experience. I usually take a couple of days off of work to play a new release game that I look forward to. It always nice to take a break from real life to fully immerse yourself. My favorite gaming moment for me by far was when I won a bet against Ashioi which forced him to bleach his hair for a month.
Closing Statements
Hello! I generally go by Cres in game. If you see me online, Crescense or Crescendance, I'm usually down to do guild stuff if I'm not already. I think I'm pretty friendly online but you can be the judge of that. (This is my weak attempt to be more sociable in guild.)
Maaaan, this guy? In short: 0/10 totally terrible, gets out dpsed by afk healers and can't tank necrotic. Tries to talk through toilets and often telepathy.
..Okay, fine. That's all mostly untrue. Hopefully what I'm about to say doesn't fluff up his ego too much.
I consider myself a pretty particular person, especially when it comes to other people. It's rare that I automatically trust a tank or can openly joke with someone about vying for the top of the meter since most people are generally really caustic about such a thing; he's managed to do both so far. It's very rare to find someone who is both competitive AND can promote a sense of respect to the person/people they're competing with, all while making it fun; again, something Cres has managed. He'd be a good addition to the regular roster not just because of numbers, but also because of personality.
Maybe. Probably. I guess he's okay. I'll bump him up to at least a 2/10.

Definitely did it for the social factor. Makes being in a guild more interesting than it just being a place I show up to ninja loot twice a week.
FYI. Saz has the whole "hazing of cres" more than covered.
