Mechanics are *critical*

Everyone:

Please remember that all mechanics are critical, these heroic fights are not dps races for the most parts, yes they have a dps component but if you do the mechanics properly the dps will naturally fall into place because everyone can be in the right place at the right time.

If a target switch is required it is required of all dps unless you are specifically told otherwise, melee included. This is even more critical because we are so melee heavy we can't count on ranged to be able to make up the difference when melee doesn't switch targets. You can't get tunneled on the boss. I kept saying that last night on botanist and regardless of that there were melee that still weren't damaging any target except the boss(es). There wasn't even cleave damage being done to the plants. This isn't acceptable. We are all responsible for doing the appropriate mechanics in order to be successful as a team.

Another example is on Star Auger. In phase 1 if you are targeted with with the thing that gives you the ice circle, you have to move out of the group immediately until your circle does not overlap with *anyone* else (which is quite a distance and will almost always be out of melee range). Multiple times this didn't happen because someone was trying to stay in melee range. When you do this it slows the dps of everyone else who gets hit and we take an overall dps loss for you to keep your dps up a little longer.

We aren't here to chase the meter we are here to see the bosses die as a team.

If you have any questions please holler.

We aren't here to chase the meter...

I don't think we have anyone who feels or behaves like that. If you do, you should probably talk to Skarn about it.

This message is a reminder

This message is a reminder for everyone as everyone makes mistakes regarding mechanics (we all know I can't figure out how to stay alive in the arcane run on Spellblade for anything) at times but it has been a recurring problem for a few members. I prefer to give people a chance to self reflect and correct their own behavior as it may give everyone a chance to make changes. If the problems persist though, yes we will need to address 1:1.
